Six Traces is now PathGlyph. These instructions describe the refreshed mobile app.
What is PathGlyph?
PathGlyph is a visual logic puzzle game about finding one hidden path. Trace between dots from S to E, use the dot and turn targets, and work out the correct route.
How do I play?
Start at S and drag through neighboring dots to E. Move horizontally or vertically, without revisiting a dot. Match the target number of dots and turns. Reaching E checks your route by default; you can change automatic checking in Settings.
Can I change a path I have drawn?
Yes. Tap an earlier dot to erase the route after it, or drag backward. A confirmed opening revealed by a hint stays in place.
What is the difference between daily puzzles and campaign levels?
The daily puzzle changes at 00:00 UTC. The campaign is a sequence of levels you progress through. Attempts and hint allowances are shown in the game and can differ by mode or level.
Do I need an account?
You can learn the rules and try the introductory puzzles first. After the tutorial and trial, sign in or create an account to keep playing and save your progress.
How do lives work?
You can hold up to three lives. An unsuccessful campaign run uses one life. A life returns every 30 minutes until you reach three. If you run out, the game shows the wait time and available refill options.
What do the hints reveal?
Next dot reveals the next part of the correct opening. Spot a dot marks a dot on the answer without revealing its place in the route. Next turn reveals the path through the next corner. Each option shows its charge cost before you use it.
What are coins and diamonds for?
Coins and diamonds are in-game resources used for the refill and booster options shown in the game. Check the displayed cost before spending them. Prices and available options can vary as you progress.
Are there ads or purchases?
The game includes ad-supported reward options. Availability and limits are shown in the game. Check the store listing for download pricing and any real-money purchases available in your region.
Can I make a challenge for a friend?
Yes. Create a path, choose the challenge settings, and share its link. Friends open the challenge in PathGlyph and play with the limits you set. They need an account after the introductory puzzles.
Does PathGlyph work without an internet connection?
An internet connection is needed to sign in and use online features such as challenge links and account syncing. Keep the game connected when you want your latest account progress and balances.
Is PathGlyph the same app as Six Traces?
PathGlyph is the updated name for Six Traces: Hidden Path. The new release brings a redesigned game interface and keeps account-based progress and challenges.
